MLK 50

To mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination and to inspire dialogue on the way forward to advance the movement for civil rights, the National Civil Rights Museum engaged a team of partners to help ensure successful execution of the yearlong MLK50 Commemoration. Pique PR had the privilege of collaborating with the National Civil Rights Museum as the project management partner. Our agency managed central coordination of signature events, programs, and activities associated with MLK50 and also supported Museum staff at all levels.

PiquePR led public engagement and community outreach;  assisted with program development and event coordination; coordinated the activities of sub-committees comprising scholars, executives, and faith leaders; and worked closely with the Museum President and marketing & communications staff to garner broad support and global interest in supporting and attending Commemorative activities and events. Together, we achieved great success.
